EPWORTH School recorded another Olympiad success when Grade 11 Tayla Howard came second overall in the South African National Geography Olympiad.

Sixty schools from across the country, comprising 946 pupils, participated in the online Olympiad.

Sixteen Epworth pupils took part and three received silver medals - in the top 10% and one girl received bronze – in the top 15%.

Tayla was the only KZN pupil in the top one percent. The winner was from Reddam House in Gauteng.

Earlier in the year, an Epworth pupil came first in the English Olympiad. - Supplied.
