Education is the key to success and I feel especially honoured to be the face of such an amazing mantra. Confident in the belief that I can definitely make a change and inspire others at my age,” she said.Busiswa said she entered this competition so that she could change and put emphasis on the way the youth approach the idea of being educated in today’s world.“At first I was extremely nervous but I was confident in that I could execute tremendous poise and grace to win.”She said her dream is to find the right pageants to help her prepare for Miss South Africa and possibly represent SA at the Miss Universe event. “I want to see myself there.”Busiswa currently holds the title of Miss Teen Tourism SA Ambassador 2019. One of the organisers, Clive Hadebe, said this is going to be an annual event from now on. “This pageant helps to positively influence their peers, initiating a chain reaction towards a generation that is empowered and that is why we want the younger generations to have that chance to enter as well,” said Hadebe.
