Family seeks missing Edendale girl

NOSIPHO Zime Sambu (18), from Edendale, Thabizolo area was last seen by her family on July 23.

Her aunt, Thandazile Lala Cebekhulu, says Sambu was visiting relatives at Swayimani and on the last day she was seen she left the relatives saying she was returning to her aunt, Cebekhulu­, with whom she lives.

Sambu is a Grade 11 pupil at Siyahlomula High and her school friends and teachers have not heard or seen her since she went missing.

The family is asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact family spokesperson Thandazile Cebekhulu on 073 491 3909 or Plessislaer SAPS investigating officer on 063 188 0005 or social worker Mkhize on 072 292 8441.

KZN SAPS spokesperson, Colonel Thembeka Mbhele said: “The missing person is still sought by police. We appeal to anyone with information of her whereabouts to contact Plessislaer police on 033 398 9717 or 033 398 9715 or Crime Stop on 08600 1011.”
