Fireworks supplier promotes safety

2019-10-23 06:03

INDIAN Fireworks is proud to have been a sponsor at the Msunduzi Diwali Festival for the sixth year now.

We are also proud to announce that we will be trading from two stores this year for your convenience, one being at the Blind and Deaf hall in Olympia way and another in Allandale Drive at best drive centre opposite Hollywood.

We hope to build a lasting relationship with the Blind and Deaf Society and contribute towards the society for many more years to come. We are also humbled and thankful for the response we have received from all our local primary schools and for allowing us to be the first fireworks dealer to conduct a safety campaign, in which we educate pupils on the use of fireworks and safety.

We started this campaign last year and will be conducting it every year in the future.

We are not just an ordinary fireworks dealer, but we sincerely have the community at heart. The safety of our children and animals form part of our motto and ethos of our company, therefore we also started giving out free calmettes to your animals at our store since last year.

We have already begun of our campaign for this year with our first school being Spring Haven Primary, where we handed them an appreciation certificate and educated pupils about safety when using fireworks. We have conducted this safety drive in more than 10 schools.

We would like to thank TPA Primary School, Spring Haven, Northdale Primary, Regina Primary, Deçcan Road Primary, Allandale Primary, Orient Heights Primary, Union Park Primary, Ridgeview Primary and Merry Land Pre-school for joining us in the Indian Fireworks safety drive, and allowing us to help ensure that children and adults are educated about the dangers and use of fireworks during the seasons and on how to keep each other and our pets safe. — Supplied.
