Formidable line-up for gospel celebration

APOSTLES Sihle Ngidi, Nathi Zondi, Neo Rathebe, Reverend Mveli Mkhize and Pastors Sabelo Manyathi, Trevor Phoswa and Zamo Biyase will be part of the “In His Presence” gospel music and pre-Easter celebration on 19 March at the Royal Showgrounds from 5pm. The event will be hosted by OGatsheni Entertainment, the UMgungundlovu District Municipality, Department of Arts and Culture, Department of Community Safety and Liaison, Department of Transport, Maritzburg Echo and Umgungundlovu FM.

Bishop Vusi Dube will be the emcee for the evening.

Award-winning gospel music stars Benjamin Dube, Dube Brothers, Ntokozo Mbambo, Andile KaMajola, Ayanda Ntazi and SA Idols winner Khaya Mthethwa will entertain.

OGatsheni Entertainment’s Sthembiso Ndlovu promised a thrilling music event. He said that pastors will focus on the Seven Words of Jesus on the Cross (Amazwi Ayisikhombisa).

“What the pastors will talk about relates to the upcoming Easter season. This is a pre-Easter celebration. A worshiping choir and Nelly kaDlamini will assist pastors while they deliver the Seven Words of Jesus on the Cross (Amazwi Ayisikhombisa)

This music event is for praising and for instilling conscience in people’s hearts. This is not only an event for Pietermaritzburg, it is an event for people who love gospel music who want to praise.
