THE Pietermaritzburg Children’s Home (PCH) will host a fundraising braai and dance on November 30 at Club Woodlander in Allandale from 5.30 pm.

The event aims to raise necessary funds for PCH and at the same time bring families together.

Tickets are R100 per person and a braai pack, rolls and salad are included in the entrance fee. All money raised will go to PCH.

PCH Public Relations Officer Sinethemba Mzobe said the braai and dance is an important initiative because it aims to raise awareness on the work PCH does while allowing the general public to assist through participating in the fundraising initiative.

Mzobe said that the response they have received from the community over the past years has been positive.

“We need the support of the community to continue [so we can] help the children of Pietermaritzburg,” said Mzobe.

For more information on the fundraising event, contact the PCH at 033 387 4004.
