IT’S a wrap. As Game stores’ revolutionary, iconic and interactive game show “Beat That Price” comes to an end.

“Beat That Price” showcased the season’s latest and most desirable general merchandise and grocery items which can be found at Game at unbeatable prices over the festive season.

In this eight-part, one-hour Game show, hosted by Nicholas Goliath, contestants competed for their share of R2 million and the unbeatable grand prize of R500 000 was won by Debbie Venter from Lichtenburg in North West Province.

Pairs of winning contestants from each episode competed with each during the finale.

Venter won the grand prize after completing the ultimate challenge called the Trolley Game in which contestants had to guess the total amount of items in a Game trolley.

Venter commented: “When I was selected as a semi-finalist after episode 1 I knew I had to get prepared if I wanted to win. I visited Game and walked the isles to familiarise myself with the prices.

“I was amazed by the large number of items they had in stock and by their incredibly low prices. Game truly is unbeatable when it comes to their prices and offering.”
