THE Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High School Class of 2017 achieved outstanding results in the NSC examination.

A culmination of five years of excellent teaching and hard work resulted in a 99.55% (224/225) pass rate with 98.21% (220/225) of its girls receiving a Bachelor’s Pass and 1.78% (4/225) receiving a Diploma Pass. A total of 514 subject distinctions were obtained.

Two pupils obtained eight distinctions, three pupils obtained seven distinctions, 13 pupils obtained six distinctions, 13 pupils obtained five distinctions and 13 pupils obtained four distinctions.
