Golden Horse Career Day this month

2017-02-08 06:02

GOLDEN Horse Casino will host its annual career day on Thursday, 16 February from 11am to 3pm at the conference centre.

The Golden Horse Career Day’s aim is to highlight Tsogo Sun as the employer of choice and attract people in the Pietermaritzburg area in the effort to remain the number one provider of world-class entertainment in the Midlands. This opportunity is open to matriculated and graduated individuals seeking employment opportunities within a specified field or department at the casino, with or without experience.

The day will provide a platform for interested attendees to meet and interact with the respective departments within the property.

Participants will get an in-depth look at the particular departments, what they do every day and what they look for during the recruitment process. The 14 departments includes slots, tables, finance, marketing and surveillance to name a few.

“After the high turnout last year when we hosted the career day with over 400 people participating, it was a no brainer to once again host it.
“With a high volume of unemployment among the youth, this event will give attendees an opportunity to consider the hospitality and casino industry as a career choice and potentially join our diverse team,” said Maureen Kivits, Golden Horse Casino, director of operations and complex general manager.

Locals are encouraged to join Golden Horse Casino and be part of this informative and insightful event.

Attendees are requested to bring their CVs and all certified documents.
