GIVING up their school holiday, pupils from Maritzburg College and Pietermaritzburg Girls High Hindu societies volunteered more than 100 minutes of their time to pack 20 000 meals in under four hours.

The sponsorship from Mediclinic Pietermaritzburg, together with support from Mediclinic employees, made the team building event possible and proved the acronym— T.E.A.M (together everyone achieves more).

“This is our contribution to our KZN community and is part of our community social investment/responsibility programme at the start of Mandela Month.

“We believe that every day is Mandela Day and are excited to contribute in our little way to the centenary celebrations in 2018.” — Supplied.
