Gospel extravaganza this Saturday

BENJAMIN Dube, Khaya Mthethwa, Dube Brothers, Ntokozo Mbambo, Andile KaMajola, Ayanda Ntanzi and The Revelation will share the stage at the 6th uMgungundlovu In his Presence pre-Easter gospel celebration event this Saturday, 19 March, at the Royal Showgrounds from 5pm.

The much-awaited gospel event will start with Bishop Vusi Dube, Apostle­ Sihle Ngidi, Apostle Nathi Zondi, Apostle Neo Rathebe, Reverend Mveli Mkhize, Pastor Sabelo Manyathi, Pastor Trevor Phoswa and Pastor Zamo Biyase giving praise and preaching about Jesus’ Seven Words on the Cross (Amazwi Ayisikhombisa).

Mthethwa said he looks forward to entertaining the crowd and sharing the stage with fellow musicians.

“I’m mostly looking forward to a great crowd and great fellowship. Pietermaritzburg­ is one of my favourite places.

“I’m also looking forward to sharing the stage with my friend Ntokozo­ Mbambo and the legend himself, Pastor Benjamin Dube.

“I’ll be performing a few of my songs from my first album, Ushilo Wena, Settle for Less and Vula to name a few and of course some songs will be from my new album The Dawn,which will be released next month,” said Mthethwa.

The event, uMgungundlovu In His Presence, is made possible through the partnership between OGatsheni Entertainment and uMgungundlovu District Municipality, and sponsored by the Department of Arts and Culture, Department of Community
Safety and Liaison, Department of Transport, Maritzburg Echoand uMgungun-dlovu FM.
