Gqom deejays at Khawulas

DISTRUCTION Boyz are two deejays from Durban known for their upbeat house music with tracks such as Madness, Shut Up & Groove and Shayizandla.

They were recently signed under West Ink Records, owned by Big Nuz member, Mandla Maphumulo.

Known as Mampintsha, they left the recording label weeks ago to join DJ Tira’s company, Afrotainment.

On October 20 they released their first album Gqom is the Future, which is available on iTunes for pre-order.

On Saturday, October 28, they will be at Khawula’s Lounge & Night Club in Sweetwaters as the club will be hosting Niza’s birthday celebration. Playing alongside Distruction Boyz will be local talents such as DJ Tick from Afrotainment, DJ Cool, Sabza, Andee Sisa, Muvo de Icon, Quelonke, Skydeep, Vince da Major, Scoolest, Joyful Noise, Gritty, Zolani and Avela imbongi. Tickets are on sale at the gate at R50 for general tickets, R70 for VIP. Dress code is smart casual.
