THE annual Grace College Talent Show always goes down well and this year is no exception.

The artists excelled themselves and the audience turned up in their hundreds.

The audience was entertained by a trio of Spanish dancers, two of whom are visitors - the third was Grace College pupil, Tarryn Plaatjies.

Castanets, and colourful costumes complimented their dancing skills and left the audience shouting “Olé” after each dance.

Tarryn, who is in Grade 11, recently completed her Grade 5 Spanish dancing exam for which she received a 78% merit award and for her Flamenco dancing exam she received a bronze award.

The evening’s programme was varied and full of fun, drumming, solo singing, accompanied singing, a capella singing, comic duos and piano and guitar playing.

Every artist performed excellently and are all commended on their talent and for “showing” it at the talent show.

While each one was a winner, the judges awarded prizes to the following artists:

First position - Braydon Marie playing his electric guitar

Second - Gugu Gwamanda and her band “Mobile Supermarket”

Third - Rebecca and Michael Webster on their djembe drums.
