Halloween at the museum

THE KwaZulu-Natal Museum will host a “Night at the Museum” on Friday October 27 from 6pm to 8pm. The Halloween themed event is suitable for the entire family and costs R20 per person.

The public is invited to experience the museum at night and “enjoy” some scary experiences in selected areas.

There will be a snake show with Byron Zimmerman from Snakes for Africa.

Visitors will experience a scary walk through the spooky History Hall and eery Marine Gallery and meet scary and ghostly characters.

Children can buy Halloween treats to eat and purchase Halloween crafts and make crafts at the museum.

There will be a Halloween photo booth, complete with Halloween props and costumes where the public can take selfies. In addition, there will be face painting and balloon animals on sale and tarot card reading.

There will spot prizes for best dressed so the public is encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween costume to add to the festivities.
