J LESLIE Smith recently donated R10 000 to the Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High School Choir and Wind Band, assisting greatly with the fundraising efforts in aid of the choir attending the World Choir Games in Pretoria and the Wind Band who hope to play at two international festivals next year; International Youth Music Festival in Bratislava, Slovakia and Summa Cum Laude Youth Music Festival in Vienna, Austria.

While the choir heads off to Pretoria early in July, the Wind Band continue with their fundraising for their dream overseas trip.
