Heritage Day Zumba fund-raising class

DE LA Dansa Studio invites one and all to support the Pietermaritzburg Animal Rescue and Rehome (P.A.R.R) by joining a Zumba class on September 25, at Ridge Primary School from 5pm to 6pm.

The joining fee is R40 per person and all the money raised will go to P.A.R.R.

People can also help by donating blankets, basins (63cm or larger), food, toys and old towels.

Event organisers Deron Howard and Sharon Howard told Maritzburg Fever they are hosting the event to assist the NPO.

“We invite people to come, have fun and help a charity at the same time.

“We support a lot of charities in Pietermaritzburg and would like people to come on board,” said Deron.

“You can pay the joining fee in support of P.A.R.R. If you only want to donate you can pay R60 and it will get you a basin and a blanket.”

Sharon said they will appreciate it if big sponsors join in.

“We encourage big companies to take part in supporting charities if they have assets and are able to donate.”

Deron also asks men to support the fund-raiser.

“Zumba is not only for women, men can also come and have fun.

“Bring the entire family,” she said.
