HILTON College will be staging Reginald Rose’s play Twelve Angry Men, in the Hilton College Theatre at 7 pm on April 25, April 26 and April 27.In the play, 12 jurors have to decide on the guilt or innocence of a 19-year-old boy who has been accused of killing his father. After the evidence is presented to them in court, they meet to deliberate and determine the truth. The play asks a host of questions including: How quick are we to judge people? How quick are we to jump to conclusions? How quick are we to accept the truth at face value? Should we bring back the death penalty? And what is justice and what is the law? Tickets are R80 (R60 pupils). Refreshments will be available at the interval. — The Witness Arts Editor.
