MSUNDUZI Hospice Association has cancelled its annual Easter Fair which was to be held on Saturday, April 4 because of the increment of the confirmed cases of the COVID-19.

According to Hospice’s fundraiser Tanya Roux, in addition to the East Fair being cancelled, the Hospice Art Exhibition has also been postponed and further details will made available once the exhibitors have been consulted.

“Kindly note that our shops will remain open for trade because our shops are a major source of income for Hospice and we rely on them to ensure that we are able to provide the care that our patients need and deserve,” said Roux.

Roux further urged supporters of the Msunduzi Hospice Association to take note of the following: “Our core function of providing care to our patients with a life limiting and/or life threatening illness will continue.

Our care team is dedicated and committed to continuing to provide this Home Based Care.”

Also, she highlighted that all the admission processes that are currently in place will continue.

“If you have need of our services, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our office remains open and our contact details are as follows 033 344 1560 or 0826999105. Alternatively, send an e-mail to hospice@hospicekzn.co.za,” added Roux.
