THE future is looking bright for a young house artist from Inchanga.

Sthembiso Jili, known as “Freeyoung”, will launch his third album, titled Inyamazane emanxebanxeba, at Inchanga Community Hall on October 21 from 10am.

Jili also received a nomination for the Live Your Dream SA Youth Awards, which takes place at the Durban Playhouse on November 24

Speaking to Echo, Jili, who is signed under Woofa Simba Records, said his album has 10 songs and it talks about love.

“ My music journey began while I was still in high school and since then I have grown in this industry. I started singing in a group called Gentleguys but now I sing solo. I am so excited about this album and I hope that people enjoy it.

“I have worked really hard throughout because I wanted to make sure that I give my fans the best music,” he said.

Talking about his nomination, Jili said he feels honoured and excited.

“It hasn’t been that long since I have been in this industry but I am already receiving such a big nomination. I feel so humbled that people notice my work and my talent. I just hope that this award comes back home where it belongs.”

Besides launching his album, Jili recently released a single called Am on my way.
