MOTIVATIONAL speaker Simphiwe Ngidi, from Lincoln Meade, wants to give back to the community using his talent.

Ngidi, who is also a pastor and singer, said he would love to spend more of his time empowering, equipping and motivating people to have a positive impact in the lives of others.

“With illnesses such as mental health luring over our communities, I would like to inspire people to dream; to see their own potential and realise their unique gifts and talents; to instil principles that will help people become successful leaders,” said Ngidi, who said he hopes to achieve these goals by hosting a motivational corner.

“Having a motivational corner will allow me to reach a wider audience and impact more lives.

“Everyone needs a bit of motivation and inspiration every now and then, even if it is just a few words,” said Ngidi, adding that he’s convinced the corner would be beneficial to the community.

Ngidi’s passion for inspiring others motivated him to establish his own organisation — Hlomani Leadership Awakening (HLA) — which allows him to empower people with leadership principles and encourage them to live up to their full potential.

“Some of the highlights in what I do have been hosting ‘Increase your value’ master classes with young and old people, coaching them on leadership principles and discovering their value,” said Ngidi, who added that he has been fortunate enough to have been invited to be the keynote speaker at various events which have taken place recently, including women’s conferences, student leadership workshops and talks at radio stations.

In concluding, Ngidi said his future aspirations are to be a speaker who is making a positive impact: “A positive impact in the community, city, province, nationally, and in the world at large,” said Ngidi.
