Kicking off for charity

2019-07-31 06:00

ROSE Medical Centre, situated on 13 Bombay Road, Northdale, along with the Maritzburg Saints Football Club are proud to present “The Rose Charity Cup”.

We strongly believe that it is our inherent duty to give back and contribute to the upliftment and development of our community.

Rose Medical Centre provides student bursaries and supports destitute individuals, families, schools and many charity organisations throughout the year.

Our flagship project is the Rose Charity Cup, which this year we are hosting in conjunction with the Maritzburg Saints Football club.

Previous recipients of the charity cup include Sunlit Gardens, Hospice and the SPCA.

This exciting charity soccer tournament will see teams representing Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Pietermaritzburg. The two teams in the final and the team of the tournament will each get to nominate a charity of their choice where a total of R12 000 will be given away.

We appeal to our community to support this tournament and fill up the stadium on the August 24.

Food stalls will be available, entrance is free!

Rose Medical Centre would like to take this opportunity to thank Maritzburg Saints Football Club for their involvement and assistance in hosting this spectacular “Rose Charity Cup”. — Supplied.
