Kudos to Prestbury SAPS

2016-02-10 06:00

WE hear so many stories about how inefficient government departments are.

I would like to report some excellent work done by a department, specifically the Prestbury Police Station. Our property was broken into last Monday and electronic equipment was stolen. I reported it immediately to the Prestbury Police Station and the officers were very professional in taking my statement.

The next day, I was contacted by investigating officer Warrant Office Sanka and Sergeant Sibisi. Both were professional and efficient. They visited our property and arranged for Warrant Office Ngubane to search for fingerprints - Ngubane is well-trained in her profession.

I was called on the Wednesday to identify equipment stolen from our property - what an amazing job. Then on Friday, I received a call to inform me all equipment was recovered and the suspects had been arrested.

I would like to commend the Prestbury SAPS, in particular Sanka and Sibis.
