KZN cricket announces U19 schools’ team

THE KZN U19 cricket squad that is to play in Johannesburg from December 17 to December 21 has been selected.

The team was selected during school Inland trials in March.

Jason Sathiaseelan from the KZN Inland Cricket team, said they select a new squad every year to represent them provincially.

“Last year we had a strong squad. They won all their games and we hope our 2017 squad do us proud.

“We wish them all the best and hope they make Inland proud,” he said.

Pupils who made the squad are Tom Price, Sean Gilson and Eraser Jones from Michaelhouse. Sinothando Mkhize and Sphelele Mkhize from Msimude High.

James Ritchie, Gareth Schreuder­, Brandon McMullen and Kamogelo Selane from Hilton College. Mondli Khumalo, Jared Campbell and Jayden Gengan from Maritzburg College and Siyabonga Thabethe from Vryheid High.
