WITH his permanent move to Johannesburg on the cards this could be your last opportunity for a while to see the charismatic Karou Charou on stage, doing what he does best.

Charou by virtue of his sold-out shows, is one of the most commercially successful comedians on the South African circuit.

His popularity was recognised by the international brand of McDonalds, who handpicked him as the face of their hot and spicy burger campaign, which included national television, street billboards, cinema and social media.

Charou has over the past six years, amassed an extensive following across the country, and his fan base extends from children as young as three, to senior citizens in their eighties, and it is because of this that Charou decided on hosting a “family show”.

Hot & Spicy will see the “turbanned one” perform some of his best material. He will have you in stitches with his take on Indian weddings and will attempt to explain why Indians can’t swim and don’t play rugby.

He introduces his very own TV channel, Logie Naidoo makes a guest appearance and Charou will leave you gobsmacked with his mental telepathy stunt.

Hot & Spicy is a 120-minute non-stop roller coaster of laughs for the family.

Catch Hot & Spicy at the Blind and Deaf Society Hall, in Northdale.

Tickets are R80 for adults and R50 for children under 10 and senior citizens.
