YOUNG designer Mpumuza Vezubuhle Dlamini, from Shayamoya, alongside his working partner Athenkosi Lemfux Mfungula are bringing Pietermaritzburg audiences the Edendale Fashion week, which will be hosted at the Greater Edendale Mall. While the event started on November 28, the main show will take place on Saturday, December 1.

Of the event, Dlamini said: “There will be 15 local designers and 35 models from in and around Pietermaritzburg.

“Our aim is to create a platform for both fashion designers and models to showcase their talents/creativity in the industry. We are all about developing and promoting the fashion industry in around the city of Pietermaritzburg.”

On December 1, the show will be packed with fashion stalls, music, and a fashion show that will start at 11am.

The event is supported by the Greater Edendale Mall, Department of Arts & Culture, and Rosebank College. — Supplied.
