Locals ladies participate in paraplegic race

A LOCAL group of disabled racers took part in this year’s paraplegic race in George, Cape Town on 20 Februar.

The race aims to uplift healthy lifestyles of people living with disabilities. The Outeniqua wheelchair marathon was divided into different races including bicycle and wheelchair.

The Msunduzi Municipality donated tracksuits and T-shirts to participants.

The racers have been part of this race for the past four years and have always come back with medals. In 2015 they came back with four gold, three silver and one bronze.

The group was then presented to the full council and their hard work was appreciated.
