THE Maritzburg Fever team committed 67 minutes of their time on Mandela Day to ensure that the stomachs of some disadvantaged youths were filled at RivLife International Community Centre in Cinderella Park. Hot meals and sweet treats were given to those who frequent the centre. Youngsters spoke of their future career hopes to become police officers, football stars and social workers, to name a few career choices. “My favourite thing to do is play soccer and I love being a striker, where I get to score goals,” said Spekuhle Zondi. Thank you to Mills SuperSpar, International Food Group and Clover SA for their generous contributions.
