A MAN, believed to be in his 30s, was killed yesterday morning after a shooting on the corner of Church and Flatter roads in the CBD.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 7.05am to find the body lying on the pavement.

Paramedics assessed the man and found he had sustained several gunshot wounds, leaving him in a critical condition.

The man was treated for his injuries and provided with advanced life support interventions.

During treatment, however, paramedics found the patient’s vital signs were rapidly diminishing.

CPR and further advanced life support interventions were initiated to try to revive him.

After some time, no vital signs returned and he was declared dead.

The details surrounding the incident could not be established at the time of going to press.
