Maritzburg Hotspurs still on winning streak

MARITZBURG Hotspurs ended the first round on a high at home continuing their winning streak by defeating Tshwane City, 7-6 and OBC Chicken, 9-4 under the command of Bilal Ebrahim.

The home team displayed exceptional Futsal skills this weekend at Caluza Sports Arena with vice-captain Curtis Dossantos scoring four goals at both fixtures, taking his tally to 13 goals in five matches making. Dossantos is currently the highest goal scorer in the Futsal League.

Royce Billings and Nhlakanipho Mncwabe also assisted in ensuring the teams victories with Mohammed Faheem Suleman making his debut appearance in the NFL against Tshwane City to secure the three points for the home team on Friday night. - Supplied.
