PANORAMA resident, former Maritzburg College pupil and ex-Lamontville Golden Arrows player, Quincy Ngcobo is searching for a new team.

Ngcobo, a gifted midfielders, well disciplined and good role model was offloaded by Arrows recently.

Early in the season he was signed by the Durban PSL and given a three-year contract by Sobantu Shooting Stars in the Safa second division, ABC Motsepe League.

According to Ngcobo, Arrows management allegedly told him that head coach Clinton Larsen suggested that he be released because he was “not in his plan”.

“I was a bit shocked when I was told that I was going to be offloaded and given my free clearance because the coach said I was not in his plans.

“I’m not angry or heartbroken, but this is South African soccer you know, life goes on. I’m currently training alone and looking for a new team,” said Ngcobo.

Although he is not sure about his next move there are rumours doing rounds in local circles that he might join the NFD side, Royal Eagles or go back to Sobantu Shooting Stars.
