THE Cherri Amour Modelling Agency, owned by Mandisa Hlongwane, held the Miss Summer 2017 pageant on December 8 at the Caluza Community Hall.

Contestants competed in swimwear, traditional attire, all-white outfits and evening gowns.

Khuthazile Zuma took the title. Her first and second princesses are Nomcebo Mchunu and Sinenjabulo Memela, respectively.

“I am over the moon about the win and it has encouraged me to continue modelling and entering pageants,” said Zuma.

“The pageant was a major success and I thank everyone who came to show their support,” Hlongwane said.

She said the show was also an opportunity for artists and youngsters with talent in other fields to showcase their abilities.
