MR PMB, Ryan Jude Freddy, is raising awareness about pupils who go to school without food by collecting tinned items for his cause.

Recently, items raised at the “Hand in the Can” drive, initiated by Freddy, were given to the Woodlands Secondary School feeding scheme.

The school has no sponsors for the scheme and many pupils come from underprivileged homes. Some of the meals provided for pupils come from teachers’ personal contributions.

Freddy’s Hand in the Can drive is now slowly spreading to other needy schools.
