New league begins

THE Msunduzi Indoor Futsal Association (MIFA) launched a new regional league consisting of eight teams at the YMCA Sports Centre on Saturday. Three games were played with pillars losing 5-1 to 2 Touch. Young Natalians Masters won 6-4 against Copesville Unique with the last game being won by Maritzburg Hotspurs who beat Young Colonials 5-2. Upcoming fixtures for the league will be played this Saturday with the first of the games starting at 1 pm as Young Natalians take on 2 Touch. Copesville Unique will play Young Rebels at 2 pm and at 3 pm Young Natalians Masters verse Young Colonials.

The last of the two games will be played at 4 pm and 5 pm.

Pillars will take on Maritzburg Hotspurs at 4 pm and ending the day at 5 pm will be Young Natalians versing the Young Rebels.
