MULTI-TALENTED Denelle Ince from Northdale is representing KwaZulu-Natal after being named as one of the top 10 for the face of Miss Signature 2019.

Auditions for the search were opened to South Africa, Botswana and Namibia.

From there, Ince made it to the top 100.

She then needed the public to vote for her in order to get to the top 40.

Thereafter, judges had screened the top 40 profiles and picked the top 10.

As part of the top 10, Ince is required to host a charity event that will help her score more towards the final show on December 7 in Johannesburg.

“I remembered the competition just an hour before auditions could close and just decided to enter. There were thousands of entrants and I was absolutely stunned to have first been chosen at top 100,” said Ince, adding that it was then opened to a public vote which is what pushed her to the top 40.

“A panel of judges had then selected the top 10. I am the first for Pietermaritzburg and the only representative picked from KZN. I am honoured and so blessed because this is truly the grace and favour of God,” said Ince.

The top 10 finalists are required to complete a charitable initiative in their respective regions with the help of their local Signature Cosmetics branch.

For the challenge, Ince said she will hold a charity event building up from her ribbon drive and domestic violence awareness initiative.

“I am embarking on holding a make- over and pamper day for abused women and this is something truly dear to my heart. I truly believe in ‘’You are enough’.

“I want women to remember their worth, to not let their past define them but instead redefine them into being strong and unapologetic,” said Ince.

She emphasised that she would appreciate any help or support from anyone who has a desire to be a part of her event.

She also encouraged people to follow her on social media (@denelle.ince) which is where she will be posting details of her event before November 27.

“I want to make this something special and one to remember. I always say you can’t change the world but you can change the world in someone. I believe in being someone’s miracle. This is everything to me,” said Ince.

Ince, who holds 14 beauty titles and two KZN Young Achiever Awards, will leave for Johannesburg on December 2 and will compete for the crowning on December 7.

She highlighted that this is a contest that truly stands out to for her.

“A lot of judging is based on what I as a person can offer to my community. This is something I stand for, being a catalyst for change. It’s also been a dream of mine to walk into a mall and see my face up on a billboard, I remember drawing myself on a vision board for the subject Life Orientation in school when I was 12 years old and ironically I had written “Me in 2020”, this is my chance to prove that dreams do come true,” said Ince.

Concluding, she said she wants to be that woman that other girls look at and say “I can do it too”. “I aspire to INCEpire. I am adamant on leaving my mark in this generation,” said Ince.
