FIFTEEN boys and fifteen girls from 11 regions in the province of KwaZulu-Natal will be competing for the coveted title of Face of KZN Model Search Contest 2018 winner on December 1 in Pietermaritzburg.

The finalists have been chosen from entries which have been submitted since the beginning of the year, and it has been a massive undertaking pre-judging from the huge number of entries.

The finalists will each receive gift vouchers and the top three winners from both male and female categories will share prizes worth R50 000.

The prize vouchers have been sponsored by Bengs Nkosi, 39 Degrees Photography, Cine Centre, Virgin Active, 033 Lifestyle, Ice Bizzer, Durban Skydive Centre, and Irene’s Models.

The aim of the Face of KZN Model Search Contest is to discover new, young, unknown faces to be introduced into the exciting world of modelling and also to promote moral regeneration among the youth. Besides that, the youth are equipped with skills to instil self esteem and confidence.

Both male and female winners will be engaged in voluntary work for twelve months with an NGO of their choice and will also attend social events to promote the Face of KZN Model Search Contest brand.

The Face of KZN Model Search Contest is a registered non-profit company which is not funded by government and private sector, it entirely depends on donations from its founder, Bengs Nkosi, who is a full-time educator and a talent scout. The sixth annual Face of KZN Model Search Contest will be held on December 1 at the Winston Churchill Theatre, 2 Leinster Road, Scottsville, from 5 pm until 9 pm.

Tickets are R100 for general and R250 for VIP and are available at Computicket, Shoprite and Checkers countrywide. — Supplied.
