FOODPAK invites members of the public to view their exciting new shop extension and revamp.

Founded in 1990 by Pam Zammit, Foodpak has grown from a small garage shop in Victoria Road into a large retail and warehouse space which now features a number of exciting shops — all under one roof.

“These five shops showcase Foodpak’s large selection of products more effectively and give customers better access to our bulk buy options,” said Ryan Zammit.

The Celebration Shop is a colour magnet for anyone planning a special event and a stunning Balloon Bar can now be found between the spectrum of candles, serviettes and trendy party accessories on offer. The Catering Shop offers customers a huge variety of well–priced catering ranges from coffee cups to foil platters and just about everything you need for a social gathering. The Catering Shop also now stocks an amazing eco-friendly and completely bio-degradable take-away product range. The Baking Shop has been a popular addition to Foodpak for a number of years and has a reputation for not only offering quality, well-priced ingredients, but very friendly and helpful service. The new wing off this shop now includes a Baking Pantry, which features a Colour Wall and Chocolate Bar with a lovely new range of quality chocolate products. The Packaging Pantry is located in this new space and customers can find an extensive range of packets, containers, jars, bottles, and bags.

Foodpak’s Christmas Shop always pops up in October to showcase a beautiful range of Christmas décor as well as a large array of indoor and outdoor lights and a variety of Christmas trees, wreaths, and Christmas packaging. The lights featured in this shop are popular because they are high-quality LED’s which are guaranteed to work for years to come. The new shops are already open, but Foodpak will officially launch the extension at their second annual Festive Fair, which will once again feature a number of demonstrations by top professionals in the baking industry.

The fair will also host the judging and prize giving for this year’s Foodpak and Friends Festive Baking FEVER Final.

“We hope to inspire bakers to do something unique with their Christmas cakes this year — it could represent their family or culture, the nativity or even something South African. This year’s competition has a wonderful charity component as well with The Salvation Army’s Children’s Christmas Party receiving the entries after judging. Can you just imagine the children’s faces when they see the beautiful cakes and gingerbread houses? Are you up to this Christmas challenge for charity?”

Details for the fair and competition can be found on Foodpak’s Facebook page.

Foodpak is all about food, fun, friends and family and so this year for our “Baking with Friends Finale”, we are challenging our local

bakers to enter a “Unique Christmas Cake Creation” in the following categories: 1. Designer Gingerbread House (edible); 2. Designer Christmas Cake (dummy may be used); 3. Most delicious Christmas Cake (edible).

Are you up to the challenge? Find competition details and Ts&Cs pinned to the top of Foodpak’s Facebook Page.

Dear Romlin

Absolutely stunning ? Just a couple important changes.

1) Please remove the logo at the top altogether – it is just NOT WORKING.

2) We didn’t anticipate the gingerbread house being so dominant at the top – rather replace with this more appropriate photo and caption: Foodpak celebrates new shop extension and revamp and invites customers to their Festive Fair. Pictured from left: Shannon Brown, Ryan Zammit and Heather Larson

3) Please remove star at bottom (let it be gone completely) 4) Rather, in the star’s place, put the competition information (see from red writing in article).

Thank you so much.
