Paramedics kept busy due to accidents

Netcare 911 paramedics responded to reports of a collision on the corner of Doctor Chota Motala Road and Willowton Road in the Willowton industrial area on Monday morning.

Reports from the scene indicate that a car and a bakkie were involved in a collision.

The driver of the car, an adult male in his twenties, sustained moderate injuries. He was treated on scene and, once stabilised, was transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment. The driver of the bakkie escaped injury.On Saturday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the corner of King Edward Road and New England Road in Scottsville.

Two light motor vehicles were allegedly involved in a collision.

Paramedics assessed the scene and found that two patients had sustained minor injuries.

Once treated, the patients were transported by another ambulance service to hospital for further treatment.

In a separate incident, paramedics responded to a collision on the N3 opposite the Midlands Mall, also on Saturday. Reports from the scene indicated that a light motor vehicle drove into the back of a truck.

Paramedics assessed the scene and found that three males and a female, all adults, sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.The patients were treated on scene and transported by another ambulance to hospital for further treatment.— Supplied.
