PASTOR Edward Alvin Anthony will finally release his four-year project titled The Best of your Life. The Rest of your Life, on March 23 at the Hosanna Church in Scottsville.

Anthony credits his life path to receiving a prophetic word from Dr Yonggi Cho in Seoul, China, where he was told: “God has told you to preach to the nations.”

Ever since, Anthony has hit the ground running, establishing Hosanna Ministries in 2001 where he was ordained as a pastor.

He was also ordained to the office of bishop in New York in 2008, and has appeared on international television and at conferences in the United States and other African countries.

“In my experience, everyone has hard times and most do not know how to deal with them,” said Anthony.

Anthony said that his book tackles the issues we go through in our daily lives and how to deal with these issues through many references to the scripture in the Bible.

“The Bible has numerous accounts on how to deal with adversity and so I reference the scripture quite a bit in my book,” said Anthony.

Because the book has so much scripture included in it, Anthony said that he had five people look over and scrutinise his book to ensure that he was theologically correct.

The book, which will be published through Kairos Publishers, is not a quick-fix book, according to Anthony, who said: “People will have to read the book properly and go through it themselves as a process that they can use to change their lives in due time.

“Sometimes we expose ourselves to misleading information during our times of tribulation and often play the blame game. This book teaches how to identify what you’re dealing with and how to deal with it,” said Anthony.
