A MAN, believed to be in his thirties, was seriously injured on Monday morning when he was knocked over by a motor car in Edendale Road.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 6.33am and found another emergency service on scene.

Paramedics found the man lying on a grass embankment. The vehicle was found parked a short distance away.

Paramedics assessed the man and found he had sustained several injuries, including a head injury, leaving him in critical condition.

Paramedics treated the man and immediately initiated advanced life support interventions. He was then taken to Edendale Provincial Hospital.
