Permission to march denied

2017-04-12 06:02

WELL our infamous municipality has shown it’s true colours again.

Turning down permission to march on April 7 by the citizens of the city for frivolous reasons, shows the contempt they have for those paying their salary.

Lame excuses by the municipality that the application was not supplied in time must be treated with the contempt it deserves by the organisers.

Was the application by the ANCYL, to also march, placed in time?

It will be noticeable that one lot of protesters will be the concerned taxpaying and rate-paying citizens and the other, a bunch of non-paying youth who, will more than likely, be hell-bent on causing cachous.

This day should go down in
history as one when law-abiding citizens of our country came together to show their support for the removal of a corrupt head of state.

The world must take note of the result of this protest and refuse future entry to Zuma to its countries.

Democracy in South Africa must prevail.
