PI Day was held at Pietermaritzburg Girls’ High School on March 14.

Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant p. Pi Day is observed on March 14 as 3, 1 and 4 are the first three significant digits of p. Various activities were on the go and were enjoyed by all. Ira McLuckie won the competition for knowing the most numbers making up Pi. She memorised 63 numbers and was able to show off her achievement to the whole school during assembly.
