THE Themba Njilo Foundation in association with Positive Youth of Pietermaritzburg and basketball managing company, 3BA hosted the PMB All Stars Basketball challenge on the weekend coupled with a business exhibition for city entrepreneurs to showcase their work.

The event was attended by Msunduzi municipality mayor Themba Njilo and Pietermaritzburg born TV stars Sibusiso Jili, Thuso Mbedu and Ntokozo Dlamini.

Hip-hop artist Okmalumkoolkat and Idols SA 2016 winner Noma Khumalo were also at the event.

The African Warriors and the Big Four basketball teams each walked away with a prize money of R15 000. Event co-ordinator Phumlani Njilo said the event was a huge success.

“It shows how hungry Pietermaritzburg is for events of this nature,” said Njilo.
