SAPS Mountain Rise’s Detective Service is investigating a case of housebreaking and theft.

According to Mountain Rise Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Joshua Maistry, items, which include a Samsung 32-inch plasma television and a blue duvet from Ricky’s Terrace in Darjeeling Heights, Pietermaritzburg, were stolen during the housebreaking.

“The total value of the stolen items comes to R4 500.

“The person identified in photo can assist police in their investigation,” said Maistry.

He added that police are making an appeal to members of the community who may have positive information with regards to the person’s whereabouts to contact 033 387 9600/11/20.
