MOUNTAIN Rise Detective Service is busy investigating a case of theft after jewellery was reportedly stolen from a home in Jupiter Road in Northdale recently.

According to Mountain Rise Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Joshua Maistry, the incident happened either on Saturday, August 10 or on Sunday, August 11 at around 10.30 am.

“The total value of the stolen jewellery is R800 000. The person identified in the below photo [Nomusa Ngidi] was employed at the given address and can assist police in their investigation,” said Maistry, who said police are making an appeal to members of the community who have information with regards to Ngidi’s whereabouts to please contact the investigating officer, J Padaychee, at either 074 898 4636 or 033 387 9611. — Supplied
