SAVF Kalinka Educare Grade R pupils, armed with gloves and refuse bags, went around Oribi Village picking up litter to save the environment.

The school, which is actively involved in cleaning and maintaining the Oribi area, previously featured in the Fever for their efforts and dedication towards ensuring a better and cleaner neighbourhood for all.

“We are a school that cares for our community and want to improve the situation of the community that our school is in,” said principal Bearnice Reddiar, who added that the school recently won numerous awards at their provincial conference for the work that the school does within the community.
