POLICE are offering a reward of up to R100 000 for information regarding the murder of Richmond municipal manager Sibusiso Sithole.

Sithole was shot dead last month by unknown gunmen while opening his car in Victoria Road.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Thulani Zwane appealed to anyone who “may have information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of the criminals responsible for the death of Sithole, to contact the investigating officer, Warrant Officer Ngcobo”.

A task team was formed last month by acting provincial commissioner Major-General Bheki Langa to investigate the murder. — Echo Reporter.
