THE time has come for comedy enthusiasts to prepare for a night filled with laughter and high-pitched chuckles as Radio Raps: Genuine! makes its way to Pietermaritzburg’s top entertainment destination, Tsogo Sun’s Golden Horse Conference Centre, on August 4.

This one-man stand-up comedy show, presented by funny man Jonathan from Radio Raps, is instilled with brilliant thought-provoking jokes that the audience can relate to. Jonathan’s show will also include a rather facetious angle, pointing out his own humanity and vulnerability to showcase why he considers mankind to be a unique species.

“We should seriously consider not taking ourselves so seriously. Just live life, have fun and follow your heart. I have a good feeling about this show, and I hope this will be the first of many more successful performances at Golden Horse Casino,” says Jonathan.

“Comedy lovers can look forward to a night of authentic local comedy, told from a perspective that many can relate to. We encourage people to get their tickets early to avoid disappointment as we anticipate a sold-out show,” added Golden Horse General Manager Maureen Kivits.

Tickets to the show are on sale from R150 per person and are available at www.goldenhorse.co.za and through Computicket. Rewards cardholders save from 10% on show tickets.

The show starts at 8 pm and is age restricted, only suitable for persons of the age of 15 years and older.
