THE Cambridge results for the May-June 2016 examinations series were released recently and St Charles College boys excelled beyond expectation and a number of subject records were broken.

The mathematics department received top honours with 33 distinctions and broke the previous record of 25.

The top 10 mathematics pupils were led by Daniel Johnson and Muhammad Ballim, who achieved 99% and 98% respectively, with the top 10 pupils all achieving over 90%.

Biology also recorded 12 pupils achieving distinctions. Chemistry and physics received excellent scores with 26 distinctions between them.

In total St Charles College achieved 121 distinctions across their various subjects.
