Ruling party flout their own laws

2016-06-15 06:00

Romanius Zulu, in his letter published in Echo 2 June writes that the DA “…has annoyed many people for always going to the courts to complain about the government. They view the DA’s actions as attempts to rule this country through unfair means.”

The DA only goes to court when the majority in government has taken a decision that the DA thinks is contrary to the laws of the land. The fact that the DA usually wins its cases is proof that the DA is correct in its thinking.

What is amazing is that, despite the fact that the ANC has played a major role in establishing the laws of the land since 1994, it is the ANC, which is now flouting those laws at every opportunity in order to satisfy its stance that the ANC comes first and the country and its citizens take second or even third place.
