SA Action training camp this weekend

2016-08-24 06:00

THIS weekend four South African Action Indoor Sides are heading to Action Sports Pietermaritzburg to start finalising their preparation for the World Cup 2016.

This year the World Cup, which includes England, Sri Lanka, India, Australia, New Zealand, Zimbabwe

Singapore and UAE, will battle in five age groups for the bragging rights for the next four years.

All South African sides stand a strong chance of bringing medals home in their respective age categories. SA has featured well in the World Cup stage with the current over 35 side currently holding the world champs title.

They will be travelling to Birmingham in the United Kingdom to defend their title. One of the highlights coming up next weekend will be the challenge match between the current world champions and the local team that won the national U23 interprovincial tournament four weeks ago. Other sides taking part are SA over 40s, SA over 45s and SA over 50s.

Locals are encouraged to visit Action Sports to support the SA teams. Entrance is free. Refreshments will be available. - Supplied.
